Advanced Usage of Vector Shapes
The vector capabilities of Fireworks extend well beyond the creation of simple shapes.  You can combine various vectors to make irregular objects that can, in turn, be used as masks for content.  You can give your content a unique appearance by applying any number of effects settings to your Masking Group.  This chapter covers combining vector shapes and using them to mask raster content.
