Publishing Flash Movies

The final stage of your Flash production is publishing.  Presently, Flash is published primarily to the Internet in the form of small web files or .swf.  However, you can also publish your Flash movie as an executable, which is considerably useful for CD ROM based publishing and presentations.  This chapter covers publishing to HTML using Flash, Dreamweaver, and Adobe’s GoLive, as well as creating and using executables (also referred to as Flash Projectors.)
